Welcome February!

Hi all!  We made it through the month of January, and it was a long, cold month this year.  It's 32° with a wind chill of 26° here, as I type this at 9:20 a.m.  I'm pretty sure that's already warmer than it got all day here yesterday.  I know that's warm and toasty compared to the Midwest, so I hope they're warming up today, too.

Our living room gets the morning sun, so I snapped a few pictures.  I enjoyed this silver tray so much during Christmas, I decided to change it up a little to make it last through the winter months.  A favorite snowman, some snow-kissed faux greenery, and a mercury glass votive holder did the trick.  The snowman candle snuffer was already here from Christmas.

My mom gave me this precious Dedham pottery snowman with the top hat and cane many years ago,

and my sister gave me this one with the stocking hat and scarf.  Love, love these darlings!

Here's the companion to the little guy on the tray.  These two snowmen remind me of French clowns with their pointed hats and ruffles around their neck.  They always make me smile.

Here's hoping February is a good month for us all.  Thank you so much for visiting, and have a wonderful weekend!!

Warm hugs,
