One of my husband's favorite sayings is, "Where's that darn global warming when you need it?" ;) Well...he's definitely said that a time or two this week. Today, we had snow (again) for about an hour -- not long. It was brief, but pretty; it looked like a snow globe outside our window.
However, the thing I find interesting is the temperature. It's 7:50 p.m. as I write this, and it's 26° here in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Our low tonight is predicted to be 6°. In addition, we're predicted to have a wind chill factor of -5° to -10° in the Piedmont Triad and Foothills. The prediction is a wind chill factor of -20° to -30° in our mountains.
