Thus far, our town has, thankfully, not been destroyed.  Never the less, I would crawl over broken glass if need be to vote for the candidate, and the party, that represents law and order.  Sorry folks, I've been sitting on my hands to keep from putting anything political on my blog this summer.  Sometimes it's so hard not to voice an opinion.

Thank you for your visit today; as always, I appreciate your interest.

  1. I agree. Branco did a great job with this one. I have always considered my right to vote a sacred honor deserving of my presence at the voting venue. Yes, I've bitten my tongue nearly in two, No more.

  2. Hi Denise! Politics is the reason I deactivated my fb account. The problem is, I haven’t been sitting on my hands and my opinion has been voiced loud and clear. I needed break from all the “discussion”. Hope you’re well.

    1. Hi Polly, Surprisingly, most of my friends on Facebook have not said much on politics, for which I'm thankful. I don't want to be the one to spoil the party since everyone's getting along at the moment. :) I have seen other folks' FB pages that are very confrontational. Thank you for visiting!

  3. I hear you loud and clear. Lawlessness is from the devil and those aren't my words. Ugh! We moved out of the Seattle area in 2018 and I've been so thankful for that move these last several months!!

    1. Oh Ellen, I'm so glad you're well away from all that violence and destruction. Can you believe the mayor spouted that "summer of love" nonsense? Not exactly Woodstock, IMHO. Thanks for stopping by, my friend!

  4. VOTE! It’s the only way we can save democracy.

  6. I totally agree. I'm tired of keeping my opinion to myself, too. The media, who lies about everything, is also evil. We got our mail in voting application for Michigan and we promptly tore it up and threw it out. We will vote in person, God willing. Any person or party who thinks late term abortion should be legal will NEVER get my vote!

    1. You're preaching to the choir here, Ellen! Somehow, it's safe (in the Covid sense) to riot and loot in the streets, but not safe to go the voting booth. Thanks so much for your visit!

  7. Denise, I understand as a blogger your reason for keeping politics out of your blog. However, I can't imagine many supporting the hate and destruction that currently has a grip on this Country. I am praying that our President and Congress will put a stop to it, and I believe it takes the courage of those who support law and order to stand up and voice their opinion. We need to stop the insanity and put God back into our hearts. Thank you for your post.

    1. Oh Jill, I hear you! I agree with everything you've said!! I've never seen such hate as this in my lifetime. There are so many in this country who still have God in their hearts, but they're drowned out by the loud voices of hate and cynicism. It's time for all of us to speak up and be heard. We'll be doing that with at feet on election day, for sure. Thanks so much for your visit, Jill.

    1. I was proud, too, Kitty. We only watched the last night, but the speakers we saw were excellent. We can't wait to cast our votes here, either. Thank you so much for your visit!
