I've been absent from Blogland for about two weeks now -- I really hate it when that happens. I've never mentioned on my blog that I have Sleep Apnea, lest you think I'm a very obese, middle-aged man in disguise. :) I know several women besides myself who have Sleep Apnea. I've had this fun little condition for about eight years. Most of the time it's under control, but now and then something happens to mess things up. Then I get a buildup of sleep deprivation to the point that I'm totally worn down. That's what happened here over the past month.
I'm happy to say things are back on track in that department, but now I've come down with a head cold or a bout of spring allergies, and I'm feeling lousy again. However, I'm sure that things will be looking up again very soon.
Thanks in advance for not giving up on me; I have so many things to share with you, but I just haven't had the energy to do so. What little time I've spent outdoors, I've enjoyed seeing cheerful flowers and flowering trees. Today I'll settle for looking at them through the front door; it's much warmer that way.
Happy Spring to you all, and I hope to have some new posts soon!
Denise

ReplyDeleteHope you get back to feeling good as new, Denise! I've missed you. Happy second day of spring, it is cold and blustery and threatening to snow! xo
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those women with sleep apnea too! Do you use a CPAP? I couldn't live without mine! I've done well for the most part ever since I got it! Hope you get the rest you need and feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you are under the weather. Take care of your self and have a very Happy Easter.

So sorry you haven't been well and now with the allergies, etc. There is a growing amount of pollen around. BTW, if you get a chance to see my current post you will see where we were recently and I wonder if you've visited there, it's so close to Brookgreen Gardens, We didn't have time to stop when we passed the gardens, but once we saw them we realized we had been there years ago when the kids were younger. Have a good weekend and keep resting!
ReplyDeleteSince fibromyalgia is related to sleep disorder, I totally and completely relate. I hope you are out of the fog and back to yourself in short order. It is NO FUN to be sleep deprived. Big old hugs from one who gets it.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling much better. Your header is so cheerful and pretty! Thanks for you email. I have missed you.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
I'm so sorry about your sleep apnea, dear Denise. Nothing is worse than not getting your rest. I'm happy that you're posting again. Take care, sweet friend! xo
