I usually have a theme for my Note Cards, but you certainly don't have to. I like to add a caption to my cards, too, because I'm just OCD that way. :) This month I'm simply doing "Fall Scenes."
Fall has been my favorite season for many years now, and when I look at other blogs, I believe a lot of you feel the same way I do. The quality of the light is different, softer and fresher somehow; and I love the contrast of blue sky, green grass, and autumn leaves. I love the local fairs with their exhibits, fair food, and colorful lights at night. I love football season, soup season, and freshly-baked pumpkin pie and muffins. My list goes on and on. What's your favorite thing about fall?
Thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I hope you have a wonderful week and find something to enjoy every day during this season.
Denise
All pics are very warm and inviting Denise! You've captured fall beautifully:@)
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, I enjoyed seeing your notecards which are all so lovely. There is something different about the light in autumn. I think it's the sun lower in the sky and the clearer air. Hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeletei love fall ... love the cooler air and the wonderful colors of fall. where i live, everything stays green so i have to enjoy the color i see everyone else share. all of these are lovely selections. i especially love the Church of the Fresco.
ReplyDeleteWhat perfect fall shots! Lovely.
ReplyDeleteDenise, I got stuck because of an interruption...so sorry! Anyway, I love these photos. The first makes my heart swell, but by the time I got to the fourth one, I was truly amazed. I blinked and blinked again for there sitting on the table is a bowl that looks remarkably like the one John brought home just yesterday. Is yours copper? Mine is silver/silverplate...a Paul Revere reproduction...it had belonged to his parents. Now you've given me a way to use it by copying your wonderful centerpiece. Thanks so much! And thank you for joining us!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing photo Denise!
ReplyDeleteHope all is well.

There is such serenity and beauty in this set of notecards. Well done. I declare our houses are the same as I have the same fireplace exactly with the wood stained windows. :-) I love all the photos. I was just on the BRP last weekend and there was very little color but I'm sure it is better this weekend. Hope you're having a good week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn images, Denise. I love the way the candles reflect in the glass screen on the fireplace hearth. It all looks so cozy. You are so right about the autumn light. The slant of the sun and the blue, blue sky are just amazing. Although I always hate to see the days growing shorter, I do love closing the draperies at night and being cozy inside our home. Candles are lovely, too.
ReplyDeleteLovely choices for Vee's Note Card party! Autumn images are some of my favorites...
ReplyDeleteThey are all just beautiful, Denise. My favorite this time is easy, though. You had me with the first one. It's just gorgeous to me. My favorite fall things are apple cider and pumpkin lattes. I'm determined to make my own of both this year, but I haven't yet. (Better get on the stick. Time is wasting.)
ReplyDeleteHi Denise, I love your hearth and home image. Beautiful fall notecards!
ReplyDeleteAll are so lovely Denise, the captions are perfect, so beautiful, thank you for sharing.

These are lovely! I especially like the one of the country church!
ReplyDeleteLovely autumn photos - the outdoor photos are so vibrant and the indoor ones so cozy and inviting! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Denise,
ReplyDeleteI love how you've captured two outdoor scenes and two inside scenes of Fall. The outdoorsy ones are so vibrant and the indoor ones are so soft, warm and comforting. Yes, I love Fall the best, too. Finally, the temperatures drop in Texas and I do love to bake and cook comfort foods. Enjoy your Fall in NC. xo
I'd say that your photos have captured the essence of fall!. Like you, I am loving fall more and more simple because the landscape is a blaze of color.
ReplyDeleteLove them all. The church pic is my favorite. Would make a lovely card.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured autumn indoors and out, and the photos make lovely note cards. I like autumn best too, for the same reasons you do, and the earthy smell in the air.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, I love the church!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy
