One Happy Dog

I want to say "Thanks" to all of you for the sweet comments I received on the article I wrote about my friend Judy and her therapy dog, McDuff.  That meant a lot to me, and it meant a lot to Judy, as well.  She is such a nice person.

The reason Judy and I got acquainted was, of course, our mutual love for Scotties; and our dogs even had the same names.  I thought I'd share a few funny pictures of my MacDuff, just in case you could use a laugh today.  :)

These pics are not really funny, but you know the rules of blogging; we want the first picture in our post to be a pretty one, since it will be the readers' first impression.

At the beach house

The pictures I'm showing next were taken shortly after we got MacDuff, and he's in our kitchen (the old, ugly kitchen before the remodel).  They're not pretty pics, but they are kind of funny.

MacDuff was a little over three months old when we got him.  Because of this, he was already a pretty big pup, but he still hadn't grown into his ears or his paws yet, so he looked kind of comical.

Notice the ugly old kitchen cabinets in the background.  Ugh.

"MacDuff, that polar bear called -- he says he wants his paws back."  :-D

MacDuff's philosophy on life -- "It's just good to be me."

Yep, folks, this is one happy dog; he's just a really good-natured chap.  It's pretty hard not to smile when he's around.  :)
