Biltmore Candlelight Christmas

Hi folks -- Happy Friday to you!  I'm seeing some really pretty Christmas decorations on your blog posts.  I'm still putting ours out, and I've a ways to go before I can share any of mine here.  I'm almost through with our tree, and I hope to finish the living room later today.  In the meantime, I'm sharing some pics from the Biltmore House back in January of this year.  Hal, my mom, and I went to the Christmas Candlelight tour on January 4th, and I told Hal later that it was one of our best visits, in my opinion.  We had a delicious meal at the Stable Cafe, and it snowed while we were there.  Not the icy kind that makes driving so risky, but just a soft, white snow.  Talk about atmosphere!

This trip made our fourth time to do the Christmas Candlelight tour.  They do things a bit differently each year, and I thought the decorations were especially pretty on this day.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Biltmore Candlelight Tour, Part 2

Happy New Year everyone!  I'm trying to crank out these Biltmore posts before people no longer have an interest in seeing Christmas pictures.  It's been very time consuming though, because Hal took 409 pictures that evening.  Even though I won't be sharing all of them, I'll be sharing quite a few, so you might want to get comfortable before you start reading.  ;)

Biltmore House, 2016 Christmas Candlelight Tour

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!  Can you believe yet another year is about to come to a close?  I'm going to keep the talk to a minimum here, because I can't wait to share these pictures with you.  This year, we were allowed to take pictures inside the Biltmore House during the candlelight tour, and we were trĂ©s excited about this.  ;)  Of course, people weren't allowed to use a flash (understandably) and the lighting was a bit of a challenge, but I think Hal captured some amazing shots.  I took a bunch of pictures on my iPhone, but I haven't even looked at all those yet.  You might want to get a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, because this is a picture-heavy post.
