I Love You Dad

My father passed away this afternoon -- on our son's 28th birthday.  Those of you who visit here regularly probably know my dad has been struggling with serious health problems for several years.  He fought the good fight, but his body was just worn out.  We're glad that he's no longer suffering, but we will miss him so.

    My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear father. A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

    Denise, I am sorry to read of your loss, yet I rejoice with you that your precious father is safely home. I understand the birthday issue as well... Praying comfort for your family. God is close to the brokenhearted.
