I'm joining the other folks at Vee's blog,
A Haven for Vee, to participate in her note card party. Just select four photos that you've already used in one of your existing blog posts. I'm using a theme of "fences" for my note cards, with a caption for each photo. I am fascinated by pretty fences. Whether they're elegant wrought iron, rustic wood, or white picket fences, I can't resist photographing them. I think I'd enjoy seeing these on note cards. :)
Episcopal Church -- Highlands, North Carolina
Rustic Garden Fence -- Old Salem, North Carolina
Ireland, 1999
Wrought-Iron Hearts -- Wilmington, North Carolina
As always, I appreciate your visits, and I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Which fence do you like best?
Denise

ReplyDeleteHi Denise, your photos are always fantastic, I love the first one, with the beautiful white flowers and unique fence! Thanks for stopping by. xo
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful, but I think #1 is my favorite. The hydrangeas along with the white picket fence ... does it get any better? :)
ReplyDeleteI also see it is in Highlands which is someplace I'd like to visit one day.
I love the daisies in front of the wooden fence. Nice to meet you through Vee, Denise. I notice you had a St Patrick's Day Blog Party...The luck of the Irish to you!
ReplyDeleteIreland is a beautiful land to be sure, but nothing is as beautiful as the Carolinas...great talent here

Now I see why you loved my picket fence! I love fences too, especially ones that surround a garden!

Oh I'm torn between the second and the last and leaning a bit more toward the final one just because it makes me want to open the gate and go exploring beyond. Wonderful photos and they would certainly make a lovely set of note cards. Thank you for joining the party!

I have a hard time choosing which is my favorite! The first one certainly evokes all things "cottage"! And the wrought iron heart one is just precious.
ReplyDeleteI love your selections - all would make lovely note cards, and perfect for spring. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi there...wanted to answer your question about my Irish doll~ She is a Goebel doll and holds a mini tin whistle in her hand. Now, to answer your post question, I like the first and last fence photos, but they are all nice. I like fences too! Have a great week. Thanks for visting :)
ReplyDeleteI went back and forth...up and down trying to choose my favorite! I think it's the very first photo! They would all make pretty cards! ♥
ReplyDeleteI love old fences and gates...I just love strolling thru Charleston taking pics of all the beautiful iron work....gorgeous pictures.
ReplyDeleteAll very interesting fences! Fun pics:@)
ReplyDeleteI love these Denise. I have a little "thing" for fences and especially gates. I don't have either here on this property, but I just love them. Your photo captures are beautiful, and my favorite is the first one with the hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteI love fences. I think my favorite is the last one. I have a thing for wrought iron.
ReplyDeleteI love old fences as well. Your photos are lovely.

I was going to go with the hydrangea fence but I have to say its the one with the black-eyes susans for me! Good theme!
ReplyDeleteHi Denise!
ReplyDeleteI think my first comment got lost in cyberspace! I said I loved your photo choices for the note card meme & I'm tempted to try to find some of mine, to join in.
I don't envy you the remodeling process in your kitchen, but it will be wonderful when completed.
Hang in there!
fondly,
Rett

Oh & we, too, toured a bourbon distillery while attending the Kentucky Derby one year. I can STILL recall the wonderful oaken barrel smell!!!
