Happy Labor Day

Just a short post to wish you all a Happy Labor Day.  I hope all of you out there are able to enjoy a nice, three-day weekend.

Lately, I've been either too busy or too tired to post on House at Forest Manor.  My dad is not doing well.  As of today, it's been one month since he had the surgery to amputate his legs, and he's still in the hospital.  For awhile, it seemed like he was doing well and making progress.  Then he had an issue with his heart getting out of rhythm, and even though the doctors got that corrected and under control, he hasn't done well since then.  He hasn't felt like eating, and he's sleeping all the time.  My dad has had a lot of close calls and serious health issues in the last several years, and he manages to pull through.  My heart is really hurting for both of my parents right now, and we've been doing a lot of praying here.

I've tried to read all your blog posts when I have time -- I'm so sorry I haven't been able to leave comments.  Hopefully I'll be able to soon.  Sending warm thoughts to all of you.
