Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a beautiful October weekend. It's time to get up leaves now, isn't it? Our son did that here on Saturday, and there are already more leaves on the ground today. No matter -- I love this time of the year.
I made a new friend this weekend on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. ;) Well, sort of. He (or she) was interested in me as long as I stayed put; when I tried to approach him, he walked away.
I discovered you can't pet them like the ones at the State Fair. Hmmm. My husband tried to tell me. ;) These calves were adorable. There were six calves and two mothers.
The church behind the pasture and autumn colors on the mountain.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the drawing for the four place settings of Villa della Luna dishes and a utensil crock from Pfaltzgraff.

I'm joining Judith at Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday. That's all for now; thank you for visiting and I hope you have a terrific day!

Little calves are just so sweet--looking. One thing about all of our pine trees, we don't have to rake leaves. Although the little 6 year old old next door was pulling the leaf sweeper behind his tiny four-wheeler. Helmet on, he dragged that thing around like a pro. Your table setting looks so beautiful. I can't remember if I entered the drawing or not. No matter. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThe calf sure was curious about you, maybe just shy. :-) Such a beautiful setting behind the church and some snazzy dishes for a giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking to Mosaic Monday Denise.
I love the pictures of the calves. I find cows are quite nosy don't you? Beautiful fall scenes and the colourful dishes make a pretty mosaic. Pamela
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a friendly little calf, maybe he was just shy. Beautiful scenes from your corner of the world.

ReplyDeleteOkay, now I am downright envious. A trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway at this time of year. The sights must have been glorious. Thanks for sharing a bit of that here. Your new little friends are so sweet too.
ReplyDeleteI love cows. I grew up with them in a pasture behind the house in Kentucky! I didn't realize Judith was doing Mosaic Monday. I will have to join her! Thanks for your sweet comments!
