Your mom's positivity is much better than the opposite. How dear of her to be concerned about you and wanting you to have a break. And what a break! Monticello I am familiar with, but did not know the other wonderful homes. I watched The Waltons all last fall, winter, and spring with my dad. We both enjoyed the programs. Even so, I noticed that pc creeping in and that "agenda" with which we are familiar and to think it was evident way back then.
