I don't quilt , but I hope to before I die, and just today came home with an arm load of books on quilting. I was a big fan of the Waltons back in the day. I enjoyed watching Johnboy, in particular, and admired his daily writing. I think his character was partially responsible for my starting a daily journal that I continue to this day.Pattie @ Olla-Podridahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17347912758342365514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3271182300590181890.post-55573398124478859002017-10-03T15:30:05.481-04:002017-10-03T15:30:05.481-04:00I too particularly noticed the gleaming floors--be...I too particularly noticed the gleaming floors--beautiful! Thanks for the tour. We loved watching the Waltons. Enjoyed seeing the pink (red) spode. We were just talking today about the benefits of siblings sharing a room. Definitely happened with large families but maybe not so much today.podsohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14880888514207597761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3271182300590181890.post-38774876844722375712017-10-03T12:16:24.596-04:002017-10-03T12:16:24.596-04:00Oh my, what a delightful post sharing this wonderf...Oh my, what a delightful post sharing this wonderful tour with us! Thank you so much!

I loved the Waltons growing up - and it was by FAR my mother's favorite show - and ironically at the end of her life it is the ONLY show she would watch on tv. I think it made her peaceful and happy inside and that's all she wanted. She had five children - wanted more but was unable to do so - loved that big Walton family.

Great post! ♥

Michele M./ Finch Resthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08971943265328093734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3271182300590181890.post-86579356819475451402017-10-03T10:27:45.212-04:002017-10-03T10:27:45.212-04:00Denise, I cannot thank you enough for sharing this...Denise, I cannot thank you enough for sharing this! But most of all I am tickled that we caught a glimpse of you in the mirror! Veehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00618654361869856894noreply@blogger.com
