If you notice the fountain in front of our cottage, one weekend we had gone to visit our kids and when we came home the fountain was all over the ground. We knew the birds couldn't have done it as it is quite heavy, so hubby put it back together and a couple of nights later we saw this huge raccoon sitting in it. So mystery solved. They are always coming up on our porch to see if there is anything to eat there..Happy Wednesday..Judy Judy at GoldCountryCottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282585980012016892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3271182300590181890.post-30995250852890721332013-03-26T21:52:08.876-04:002013-03-26T21:52:08.876-04:00Well, those lowdown, good-for-nothin', thievin...Well, those lowdown, good-for-nothin', thievin' little so-and-so's!!! I think you need to put out an APB and have them all hauled down to the station for questioning! Ugh! It's like if you're going to steal the food, that's one thing. But don't tear up all my stuff in the process! And leave my dang flowers alone!!! Yup, to paraphrase that song from "The Music Man", "Once you've got raccoons rambling around your property, ya got big trouble!" I sure wouldn't want to fight one of those bad boys. I hear they've got a temper that makes Alec Baldwin seem genteel! :-)Alycia Nicholshttp://tabletwentyone.wordpress.com/2013/03/26/easter-bloom/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3271182300590181890.post-18169450797094857162013-03-26T12:48:21.422-04:002013-03-26T12:48:21.422-04:00Ours is hanging too and I thought it was safe, aaa...Ours is hanging too and I thought it was safe, aaaack. :)mail4roseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17850985344834209198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3271182300590181890.post-7068235568590389582013-03-26T12:41:55.916-04:002013-03-26T12:41:55.916-04:00Oh, that is awful.
