Chocolate Decadence

Good afternoon to you on this rainy March day.  I just had to take a picture of this; I'm not normally one to take pictures of my food when we're out in public, but --


I just couldn't resist this time.  This is one of my very favorite treats/indulgences.  A chocolate-filled croissant.  Oh those rascally French; they are masters at creating the most decadent combinations of pastry delights.  This pairing of soft, flaky, buttery croissant with the delicious, melted chocolate is culinary genius.  Why no, this isn't on my doctor-recommended blood-pressure and cholesterol diet.  ;)

  4. OMG that looks wonderful, I could eat 4 of those. Trader Joe's has frozen ones and you take them out before you go to bed and they rise, bake them and they are so yummy. I am sure they are not as good as the ones you are having, but it's a good substitute in a pinch,
