Frosty Winter Note Cards

Hello to you all!  Are you having a good week?  It's that time again -- Vee at A Haven For Vee is hosting her monthly Note Card Party.  If you've never participated in the Note Card Party, I urge you to give it a try.  It's a fun party, filled with friendly bloggers; I'm always glad for a chance to participate.

We don't see so much snow here in North Carolina, and for that reason I think we often long for a really pretty snowfall.  Since we haven't had any of the white stuff here this winter, I'm once again thinking of snow and snowmen.

 "Snowy Day"

The last note card was a picture that was taken on December 26, 2010, about three weeks before I started my blog.  That year, we truly had a White Christmas.  It started snowing here on Christmas morning, and it snowed and snowed all day; by nightfall it was a winter wonderland outside.  Right now it's raining outside, which is the only kind of winter precipitation we've been getting here the last couple of years.

Thanks to all of you who stop by to check out House at Forest Manor and to all of you who keep coming back.  I appreciate your visits more than you'll ever know.  Thank you, Vee, for hosting the party every month and for making everyone feel welcome!  Hope you all have a great day!

Denise

  3. Love your notecards. I almost did "snow ones." We had a beautiful brief snow that stuck over night almost a year ago on the day we buried my mother. I was sure we would have a good snow this winter, but it's not over yet …

  4. Hello Denise, I enjoyed your January Note Cards for Vee's party. I'm so happy we are in a short dry pattern after all the rain we've had here in the Seattle area. Now all we need is a little sunshine!!

  5. The snowmen are all cute, but I love Sparkly!! The snow scene is just beautiful, Denise. We occasionally get snow here in Texas, and I do love it, but not the ice. I love Vee's note card party, too. It's such a nice group. xo

  7. I like your snowman cards and the snowy scene is really pretty. A week ago we'd have gladly shared all the snow we had here but the rain has taken it down considerably now. lol Blessings, Pamela

  8. That was a very pretty snow! And I love the way you put your decorations on top of stacks of books. That's my favorite style! Very nice for winter note cards!

  9. Lovely note card selections. I do love snow, but we get mostly rain, rain, rain. We had a bit of sun today and I felt so much more energetic! Your snowmen are adorable.

  10. Very cute snowmen you have there! I really like the sparkly one. Would you believe that it is pouring rain here? I would far rather have the snow as this just makes a slippery mess. It certainly must have been a Narnia Christmas the year it snowed. Sounds so nice!

  11. The snowfall from 2010 is pretty and I'm sorry you haven't had any for Christmas since. We've had more snow to date than some other winters in entirety. But, we live in a snow belt area and really do like it.
Your snowman collection is cute and they make for some nice note cards as well.

  12. Beautiful. I really like that first one. I remember that snowy Christmas. For me, it will be the Christmas that all others are judged against. At least when it comes to weather, anyway. Hope you are well.

  13. Hi Denise. I love snowmen. I pull them out around Thanksgiving and will leave them out until February. Your snowmen are adorable. You've made me smile!

  14. I liked the *fauxmen* as much as the real snow picture. I'm kind of a little kid about snowmen. They make me smile for some reason. Since we're even south of you, I generally rely on the kind I can buy at the store. My favorite one of yours was that bottle topper. That is adorable!
